All About Mobile Devices

Hello. My name is Daphne Aigner. Welcome. I’d like to use this site to share my knowledge about mobile devices. As I was growing up, I watched mobile devices evolve from huge brick phones to powerful pocket computers. With the development of tablets, larger mobile devices came on scene as well. Through the years, I gained a deep understanding of how these mobile devices work and their practical benefits in a number of settings. I created this site to explore these topics in more detail and help everyone better understand the value of mobile devices. Thank you for visiting my website.

3 Mistakes To Avoid When Laying Down Network Cable

When you move into a new location and have to set up everything for your business, one of the tasks you need to take care of is laying down the network cables you will need to use. You want to make sure you lay out the network cable correctly. Discussed below are three network cabling mistakes you'll want to avoid.

Mistake #1: Not Using VoIP System

When you are laying down cables for your business, the first thing you need to do is think about what type of phone system you are using. If you want to stay on top of the latest technological advances, you are going to want to install a VoIP system. With a voice system, all of your phone and data needs can be taken care of with one cable instead of with multiple cables. By upgrading to a VoIP system when you move into your new business, you can save yourself from installing multiple cables when what you really need is one really nice high-quality cable.

Mistake #2: Not Planning for Future Needs

When you are laying down new data cables, you can save yourself a lot of money by thinking about the future needs of your business, and where you hope things go, instead of just thinking about your current business needs.

For example, when installing a cable, don't install the minimum sized cable to take care of your voice and data needs. Instead, install a top-of-the-line cable with the maximum data carrying capacity. That way, as your data needs increase over time, you will not have to take out the old cables and install new cables; instead, you can just keep using the high-quality cables you installed in the first place.

Mistake #3: Running Next to Electric Lines

Finally, when you lay down your data lines, don't lay them parallel and right next to electrical lines in your building. This may seem like a good idea – after all, the lines are already in place and there is a space there. However, installing new data lines next to electrical lines can cause a host of interference issues, and if your data lines and electrical lines meet for one reason or another, you can find your entire data network disabled.

When it comes to laying down network cables for your new business, be sure to consider using a VoIP system so you only have to put down a data cable, instead of separate data and voice cables. Try to plan as much as possible for your future data needs and keep your data cables away from your electrical lines in order to prevent malfunction and accidents.
